Welcome to the Xātiva Tomiki Aikido bilingual
website. Xātiva Tomiki Aikido, first opened in February, 2006 and serves the
Valencia and Alicante regions
in Spain. Pronounced "HAT-TI-VA" locally and in Alicante,
but in the Valencia region it is known as Jātiva and pronounced "SHAT-TI-VA".
In 2008, with more venues and classes starting away from Xātiva, it
seemed more appropriate to change the name to "VALENCIA TOMIKI
AIKIDO".
I am mind itself
If I hold positive thoughts in my mind, good things are likely to happen.
Holding negative thoughts in my mind works against my best interests.
Therefore, even if my body suffers physically, my mind remains optimistic.
Even if I encounter obstacles, my mind is never defeated.
Daily I fill my heart with thoughts of joy, gratitude and hope.
I face each new day with a bright and optimistic spirit, Which I express in word and deed.
I have faith in life, and life responds in kind.

Yoshiome Inoue 6th Dan, Director JAA will be holding a seminar in
Almussafes, Valencia.
The seminar will be from Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd of May, as follows
There will be a meal Saturday evening in Xativa Town.
Sunday afternoon there will be a party at Mike's house with traditionally cooked Spanish Paella,
Sunday is by invitation as there is limited space.

As part of their Honeymoon, Tadayuki Sato and his wife
Keiko will be visiting the UK from 4th - 11th March, 2009. We
congratulate them on this forthcoming and happy event.
We are informed that whilst in the UK Tadayuki Sato
Shihan will hold an Aikido Seminar over the weekend, 6th - 8th March,
2009.

20:00-22:00.
During this "Official JAA Seminar" the NEW Randori rules will be
explained.

and we can recommend Hotel Cammerpoorte, which is a reasonably priced
hotel in the centre of Antwerpen. Brasschaat is a village close to Antwerpen
and reachable by public transport.
Shobukai Dojo is also reachable by public transport.
There is a possibility to sleep in the dojo.
